Loki Wyrd Posted August 27, 2003 Report Posted August 27, 2003 Hills creeping along the stream Blood gushing through the dams Trees drinking it in Roots grow deep Wind blowing painfully Grounds shifting in anxiety Space being held in The strenuous nature to explode Furious, the creatures rise up The skin hard in being broke Razor slices cut deeper Thoughts run amuck What not to think about? 'Tis what we do rightly Though rightly done is not Better start in just time Waiting to cry in fear Sighing, skin joined as one is released Forces unkindled to wrought sin To beget future sorrow Or present pleasure Beautiful is the instigator And sadly sitting conscious Plunging into flesh Tearing it assunder To bring about plague Into the outskirts fire reigns Smoke pouring from the pores Blood flowing through the towns Swepts away are villagers Swallowed in its hunger All before it -- fallen -------------------------------------- With the rise of the sun The darkness's end has come Though shadows now lurk They are not free to roam Bound to the objects To them which are home But be wary Watch your back Or else the shadows Will rise up and attack The tendrils of darkness Entwined around your limbs To pull you out of the light Don't let yourself forever be lost I will not let you out of my sight See now the sun? I hope that even you, With your clouded vision, Can see its light shining through Stop to appreciate all that is The birds have begun to sing Open up your ears How can you not notice such a splendid thing? The grass is still damp Can you not feel the morning's dew, The blades of grass between your toes? If you don't open up I can't help you Listen now And this I would have you not forget The shadows are bound to you Not you to them if you don't let Walk your path as you see fit You are not to be led on by your shadow Let the darkness own you And life you shall not know
