Beautiful Nightmare Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 I miss you You used to be my friend For ten years we shared tears and happiness But you turned mean Went off with new friends And left me all alone Why did you do that? Did you not like me anymore? I don’t understand I held your hand Ever since we were four I’ve dried your tears I’ve stopped your fears What more could I of done? I stuck up for you I would have died for you I thought we’d be friends forever Obviously, you had a different idea We grew apart It broke my heart Then you left me all alone I just want to say say Have a great life I’ll always have a place for you in my heart Even though we are apart
Peredhil Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 Simple, poignant and a refreshingly sweet end. Don't give up. Genetically, the two primary socialization change points are 13-17 and 18-22. There's still round two coming! On a more immediate note... Picks her up and carries her lightly over to the giant rocking chair (which unfortunately does have a slight squeak). Wrapping loosely her in a quilt fresh from the dryer, he gives her a hug and a chance to be held by a friend.
Ayshela Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 simple but heartfelt. "ouch" and "why" echo clearly here. while i know the pain too well, i unfortunately don't have any answers. *hugs* Ayshela rummages about in the kitchen for a short time before appearing with a mug of cocoa for Arwen.
Chanz Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Awwwwww. I to have been through this. It's horrible, but you DO have other TRUE friends that WONT leave you. I liked this. I could feel the emotion in it. nice job
