Another poem

Wrote this one about another girlfriend (before we broke up, of course)

Farewell, my beloved

 

it appears time is not on our side

 

it runs short like a fountain of youth

 

flowing quickly and ending just as fast

 

the darkness is closing in

 

but with your light to guide me, I sleep

 

 

 

 

Oh, how you possess my mind and spirit

 

If only I could possess your body forever

 

I see you and want it to be like last night

 

the night that will live forever in my mind

 

but unfortunately will not last forever into the morning

 

if only it could

 

we could be so perfect

Everything has a beginning middle and end

-some fear to start because they fear to lose.
