Falcon2001 Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Oh, It's the morning after And nothing will ever be the same 'Cause you had to play those games And she had to, too Yeah it's the morning after And the realization's setting in You've steeped yourself in sin Without even thinking Oh it's the morning after And all you can think about is shame And all your dreams have gone away And she has too And I tried so hard To do things right And I wish I could just say I love her Oh I tried my best But it wasn't enough To keep this pain from growing in me It's the morning after And the pain deep in her eyes It makes you want to cry 'Cause things went too fast Yeah... It's the morning after. I would like to note that the events herein described did NOT actually happen (leastaways, not to me). It's just kind of a theme I've been thinking about lately, and I finally broke my writer's block.
Peredhil Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Broke your Writer's Block? Smashed it with a hammer! Act in the passion of the moment, repent at leisure - in song format! Welcome back.

Haha... the morning after... they made a pill for that y'know.
Tasslehoff Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Falcon; My friend, glad to hear the such event didnt transpire in your own world.. Very good news.. But onto the poem.. I like the flow.. The structure. its very good, it has depth.. It reaches out and touches you.. In my own mind, I started to visualize what was happening.. the words brought your poem to life, and to me, that tells me its a DAMN GOOD POEM.. Good Job man.. Glad your blocks gone!
Vlad Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 This is really good Falcon, can't say much about it. Well, maybe one thing, a piece of advice my parents gave me. "Don't do it, but if you do, use protection."
