Cheyenne Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 A dying flame Of flickering blue light Illuminating my soul Bringing forth my plight Losing faith in above Wondering at God's grand scheme I no longer see the big picture I am lost in this dream...
Salinye Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 (edited) *smiles* Sweet and yet impactful. Takes talent to make such a strong statement in so few words. Very nice Cheyenne, and if those are true feelings of your heart, then may I offer you some comfort ~Salinye Edited May 5, 2003 by Salinye
Cheyenne Posted May 5, 2003 Author Report Posted May 5, 2003 It was at one time. Thank you for the comfort, You are all such wonderful people here. Actually though, now that I am more at peace with myself I was finally able to post that one. It was written a couple years ago and I kept it taped to the screen of my computer at work. It helped me remember, to always try to see past my own selfish feeling, wants and needs and see everyones point of view.
Cheyenne Posted May 5, 2003 Author Report Posted May 5, 2003 Another one as yet untitled so I thought I would just group them together.... To smile when you hear a child cry To taste their blood and feel alive Is to tear a hole in the fabric of time To steal a life so alike to mine One day you will feel the fire Of our Gods wrath and fateful ire One day you will pay the price For making a child your one true vice All they want is your love and trust How sad indeed all you have is lust Burning not just in your heart but mind To weaken others with your scheming crime
Salinye Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 As a mother of young children, I can tell you this is a mothers worst fear. Very powerful words, Chey. :0) ~Salinye
