Psimon Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 I will find you ************************************ No matter the distance between us nor the years that may pass on by I'll not rest until I have seen you and heard your sweet voice ere I die. Though the miles may cause me to stumble the hours cause my bones to seek rest I will stay the course, remain humble heart measured and weighed by the test. And as I take rest in your gaze then, dress my wounds and lay my head down I'll smile and remember the days when we strolled hand in hand through the town.
WrenWind Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 (edited) If I hadn't already posted "Different Stars" This would have made me think of it and post it in answer. There is no distance for the heart Surely a kindred soul you will find One day your quest will start Driving body and mind to heroic feat Hear her voice, Hold her hand I know one day you will meet Cherish moments frozen in time Her voice can always be heard Just dial the phone and spend the dime *psst I do have her number you know, for the Lady Lioness. Oops can you tell i'm in a cheeky mood* Edited May 3, 2003 by WrenWind
Salinye Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 Psi & Wren~ I love these poems. They compliment each other. I am forever the hopeless romantic and so ofcourse this poem appealed to that side of me. Psi, what I like most about your poem is that you can really feel how sincerely the speaker cherishes the person it was written about. I like poems that simply leave you feeling cherished. ~Salinye
