whynotsin Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 The History of Whynasin The Ancients had left behind nothing but crumbling cities. They did not need the grand buildings or the technology that had taken eons to make. They as a race had reached the highest level of evolution. They had gained the ability to change the state of their matter with thought. Pure energy and pure thought is what they had become. With this they could travel the universe and all the dimensions of space and time. With their minds they could create or destroy. As they encountered the race of man they where reminded of their origins. Man saw these beings as Gods and based all his beliefs on them. This race of ancients soon dispersed across the ether of time and space taking many forms where ever they went. The one great downfall of this grand race was that they could no longer mate with one another in their true form of energy and thought. Instead they had to adopt physical forms to reproduce. Their offspring were immortal and strong. They where however not even close to their creators in ability or anything else. After countless ages the Ancients gathered in their original dimension to try and create another such as them self’s. With great efforts each of the ancients contributed a portion of their being to create a child. The only true offspring the Ancients ever created was born they gave him the name of Whynasin. Unfortunately for the Ancients the creation of the One caused the collapse of the dimension they where in. It began to collapse because of the great amounts of energy exerted by the Ancients to create the one. Whynasin was thrust into the ether of time and space with out a sense of direction. Those who had created him where trapped in an eternal prison of the Gods. It was said that every star was really just a window into that prison of the Gods. Whynasin the one now drifted for Eons. Passing from dimension to dimension. Possessing the collective memory of his kind he knew of where all the half-ling where. Whynasin let his energy drift-letting fate guide him to where ever. In all the eons of his wanderings all he could think of was how to free those that where trapped because of his creation. The Ancients as he called them for they had no name and being older then most of creation considered them self’s to be thusly had traveled the universe curious to find others such as them self’s. From time to time they would settle on planets that had life and mate with one of the natives. The Ancients before they could mate had to adopt the form of one of the natives. The children born these way grew up and had powers beyond that of any on there world Those children mated with others like them self’s or with mortals until they had races established. One thing that would happen on these worlds was worship. The peoples of these primitive cultures would see the Ancients as Gods. Thinking that they had created everything. Most of the Ancient helped the peoples they encountered them, protecting them nurturing their children that where spread out across the ether. They in time became the forgotten guardians and guiding sprits of the universes.
whynotsin Posted March 8, 2003 Author Report Posted March 8, 2003 I'll Be posting more of the history of whynasin as it becomes more evident
whynotsin Posted March 9, 2003 Author Report Posted March 9, 2003 Whynasin became obbssed with finding the other children , hopping to cling to what ever was left. HE found Angels and powerful mages, He found the Seraph but thier blood had been so watered down that they no longer where immortal. The originals all killed. No one left to remember the ancients.
whynotsin Posted March 9, 2003 Author Report Posted March 9, 2003 Whynasin did not see the need anymore to protect anyone as those before him had done. No one remembered his kind no one left to mourn them except for himself. They say that the only true way to kill a God is to forget them. To turn your back to them. The ages passed and the only free one of his kind grew bitter and insane. He played tricks on mortal and immortal alike. Driving others mad. He could not know the sweet release of death so he fought any who appeared to be a challenge. None presented themselves to be that challenge that he sought, none could offer his deathblow. Until he arrived at Tera, There he found the purist of the children of light. There he would battle. There he found those still worthy. Even if they where half-light.
Tamaranis Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 I'm wondering if all those tremendously powerful archmagi on Terra are the half-light beings... Anyway, is this open to all?
whynotsin Posted March 10, 2003 Author Report Posted March 10, 2003 soon it will be open, after I establish a few more things. Yes on Tera he finds Half-light that is as close to his pure light as he has been able to get to.
whynotsin Posted March 11, 2003 Author Report Posted March 11, 2003 Whynasin could have joined his trapped brethren He could have slipped back in the way he came out. But then he would be just like them forgotten and then truly they would be dead. Fossils trapped inside of the ether of time and space. The only benefit he saw in this was for him to be with his kind And so with this post I declare it Open, Whynotsin cuts a ribbon and the egar crowds prepare to post their vesion of The lost child of the stars history. Keep in mind that Whynasin behaves like a Loque I think I wrote it correct, any way he has a lot of mischeif. Also do not send him to his own Dimension.
