The Portrait of Zool Posted March 4, 2003 Report Posted March 4, 2003 Life awakens the seed splits warmth and moisture from above. Infinite cosmic chances - balanced - a miracle happens. Out of the darkness, reaching blindly Slender stem straining twisting 'round boulders the size of a grain of sand. Seeking it's healthier self Life knows only growth or not. Voices from the past A world apart Is this life? Telling you, You aren't good enough. Boulders the size of a grain of sand.
Peredhil Posted March 4, 2003 Report Posted March 4, 2003 cosmic! Isn't it amazing that the life in a seed knows it's timing and has the courage to seek its destiny no matter what? Even when slain by untimely frost, there is something heroic about refusing NOT to grow... Keep 'em comin', big guy.
SoaringIcarus Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 Reminds me of when we grew bean sprouts in plastic cups with wet paper-towels in 5th grade. Don't let the ol' bean-seed cavity get ya down. -Icarus
Gwaihir Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 It goes from a first stanza that is almost sensual though about seeds to a metaphor about us. I like it. everything's the size of a grain of sand from someone's point of view.
