DoomGaze
Fields of Fame ------------------ Flowers blossom in an untamed land. They sit ever so still, Yet wild they stand, And every void they fill. I pass it everytime, And the wind echoes my name. Begging me, to commit a crime, To reach a certain degree of fame. But still I refuse, Despite the fortune they promise me, To go where they choose, They think I'm blind, that I can't see. Centuries pass, still it remains untouched, I still walk these fields at night. Thinking back on the times I missed so much, They still whisper to me, but I continue to fight. Zariah
I really like this. It shows the ability of good to conquer evil. My favorite stanza is the first. I believe this is the word choice and the rhyme. I think its the terms untamed, wild, and the concept of the flowers filling every void. Great job, please post more like this!
