DoomGaze Posted February 24, 2003 Report Posted February 24, 2003 Fields of Fame ------------------ Flowers blossom in an untamed land. They sit ever so still, Yet wild they stand, And every void they fill. I pass it everytime, And the wind echoes my name. Begging me, to commit a crime, To reach a certain degree of fame. But still I refuse, Despite the fortune they promise me, To go where they choose, They think I'm blind, that I can't see. Centuries pass, still it remains untouched, I still walk these fields at night. Thinking back on the times I missed so much, They still whisper to me, but I continue to fight.
Archaneus Posted February 24, 2003 Report Posted February 24, 2003 Another great one Doomgaze. I'm always amazed by your ability to reperesent an idea so vividly. Great job.

Zariah Posted February 28, 2003 Report Posted February 28, 2003 (edited) I really like this. It shows the ability of good to conquer evil. My favorite stanza is the first. I believe this is the word choice and the rhyme. I think its the terms untamed, wild, and the concept of the flowers filling every void. Great job, please post more like this!
