DoomGaze Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 (edited) A Veiled Paradise ------------------------------ The veil becomes uncovered by a faint speckle of light, More and more quickly appear. Many stars, so beautiful shine so bright And absorb the darkness, which causes it to disappear. The dancing moon hangs by an invisible thread, And slowly inches it's way to the other side. It moves until all darkness is dead, And the string gets cut, and behind the light it resides. The sun makes his move and pulls himself up, Shines even more than the stars before. Rays so smooth, like hot tea in a glass cup, Heavenly, some might say, and nothing more. Fortunatly, this doesn't last for just one day But everyday, so we can appreciate, How free this sight is, nothing to pay. That's what I like about it, and nothing to hate. Vlad Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 *hugs* I needed a poem like that to cheer me up...
Archaneus Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Good poem. I like, don't know why, but I really liked that one.
Rune Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 Rays so smooth, like hot tea in a tea cup, I would prolly remove the second tea, cause its repeated so close together. How free this site is, nothing to pay. site? like web site? or sight? Beautiful poem overall Doom, Your talent shines through much like the rays you describe.
