Throughout the history of the Pen that I know, there is but one member who makes brilliant, funny, and original posts dependably. There is a Pen member that has never shirked his duty to the Pen, even when the darkest tar of real-life is very sticky. This Pen member has been blood life to the Pen in the dry periods, and a welcome asset at the Pen’s height. For a truly outstanding and commendable performance I would like to award the Crow Feather of Reliability and Excellence to.... WYVERN! Thanks Wyvern for all of your wonderful acceptance posts. You have never failed us, in either timeliness or creativity. It’s often taken for granted that we have a wonderful Elder of Initiates, but I know that my first introduction to the Pen was great because of you. Thank You for showing so many new members how cool the Pen can be and keep up the good work.

Gyrfalcon Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Gyrfalcon laughs and agrees Wyvern's done a lot for the Pen, from one of the largest RPGs we've ever undertaken (which I'm honored to be part of) to his current contest. And despite all the trouble, tests, and other evils of RL that are thrown at him, he's always managed to come up with something funny to greet each new initiate. Oh, and for your information Nyyark, Wyvern is my friend- he just owes me a lot of money. Thanks, Wyv.

Wyvern Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 Wyvern blushes and stutters, glancing towards his fellow friends and Pen members as he gratefully accepts the Crow Feather of Reliability and Excellence. Searching for words to summarize his feelings yet failing to find any that quite do the job, a long moment of silence elapses before the lizard speaks: "My humble thanks for this touching acknowledgment... I'm flattered, really. It seems I never get to post at the Pen quite as much as I'd like to due to RL studies, but am glad that what I do post is appreciated..." Having said this, Wyvern distributes hugs (without the intention of searching for geld, for a change) and notes that the final track on his "Poetic Justice" compilation can probably summarize his thoughts on this situation better than he can...
