Archaneus Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 I think this needs work but this is the rough version. Another morbid poem to go with my app. one. lol. I can feel it coming It’s almost upon me I have been waiting so long For the release, the ease I can’t wait to be free Ecstasy embracing me as I slip away I feel joy in the end I am happy as I slide down that tunnel As I slip away into nothing I an content I will never have to feel pain Never have to be sad I am free from everything
Rahsash Geldich Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 ::Applauds and leaves it at that::
Tasslehoff Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 * applauds * Maybe its a different view, different thought pattern, but I didnt find that at all morbid. I seemed more or less a happy poem on a sad subject.
reverie Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 frankly sounds like your welcoming death to me... good poem though... revery the dreamlost "i'm just a rose unpicked left to wilt on the stem of life..." the dream continues...
Rune Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 I agree with rev, kinda sad. but you did mention that in the intro. Great poem none the less.
DoomGaze Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Poems about death are always welcome in these parts, and this one is short and sweet.. Good Work!
Vincent Silver Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 *Sneaks up and kidnaps Archaneus* I can't have you threating my postion of depressive poem writer Heh heh heh
Archaneus Posted February 3, 2003 Author Report Posted February 3, 2003 (edited) First, thank you all for your comments. I agree with you Tasslehoff but, most people view death as a bad thing and I didn't want to write a long explanation of my view. Expect more depressive poems from me, they seem to be all I'm good at. TO: Vincent I will take over your spot as depressive poet. Mwahahahahaha. *wheeze wheeze* Lol, how about a draw? *Puts hand out as if to shake* Again thanks for all the comments.
