Rahsash Geldich Posted August 13, 2002 Report Posted August 13, 2002 There is a slip so gradual Tilting downhill, but not Because its more of a pulling Than a sliding Twist in and hide. Entwine untill your strong. But sometimes another's fingers are needed Joined hands, symbols of much.... Lost, empty, clutching, Clutched close. What happens when you reach for too long? You finally snap and wait. For an outstretched hand. But it'll never come Twisted cannot be seen It'll never come.
reverie Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 hmm, i get the vision of someone who offering love or friendship of some sort... but never had it returned, so recoiling he/she waits for someone now to do the same for him/her... but alas it never came... kinda sad i think... sometimes we can burn ourselves out by giving too much too soon, to those not ready to recieve it... a little moderation should would be better, so as your not so spent as to never give again... well that's my thoughts... good one rahsash revery the dreamlost "all things in moderation" the dream continues... Which Colossal Death Robot Are You?
Nyyark Posted August 15, 2002 Report Posted August 15, 2002 I really like it. The way your poem forms an empty hand is really good. I feel like I can see how sad the hand is. Keep it up.
Rahsash Geldich Posted August 15, 2002 Author Report Posted August 15, 2002 Its more about the feeling of a black void, or depression creeping up, and no one realizes. Interesting on how you related it to giving and taking or lack of retrun, of love. Tanks for commenting!
