Guest opesopacus Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I’ve accepted these axioms, they might just prove true its me versus me , what the rational wants what the unconscious is trying to explain ; to lick its wounds to nurse back to health but the same language is not spoken , a border is to be crossed communication must be achieved , or sanity , peace of mind shall never be reached I need an interpreter gather my strength - approach with caution ; become my own interpreter settle the argument between the ego and the self it is time it has long been time , but only now have I matured to this stage ; grown out of my blindness cautiously stepping out of my disease , knowing that now I shall have to search for other problems , issues to mask me at least this one shall be gone maybe others can be avoided . . . one step closer to clarity just one tiny step closer to circumorbiting the true self may be achieved
The Portrait of Zool Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 What is the true self? Is it the ego, with demands for more and constant comparison with others? Is it that little voice that sees the difference - wait, that is just another guise of the one who demands more, making constant comparison with others. Let it go. What is the opposite of thinking everything is against? What is the opposite of powerlessness? What is the opposite of always seeing the world insufficient? What is the opposite of seeing only shortcoming in oneself? What is the opposite of seperating oneself out and calling not getting what one wants a trick of evil? Give in to abundance. Give in to self creation. Give in to Love. Give in to oneness. Your 'AXIOM' is but a reflection of how you see yourself. You've made a choice somewhere, and you can change it anytime.
