You put cheese on rice? You fiend! Rice is meant to have butter on it, along with salt.

now I'm hungry again! I'm going to get you for that, Nyyark. *goes to eat another dinner*

Demoiselle Celles, there are lots of French words used in common English, boullion being one example. Another is deja vous or a maillot(sp?) style of swimsuit. I find it hilarious, especially since the clothing stores just call it a maillot swimsuit. Hello? A 'swimsuit' swimsuit?? o_O

There are lots more, but I just can't think them up right now. I'll bet Wyvern knows some funny ones, since he knows much more French than I do.

Hopefully not as confusing as she feels,

Yes, welcome to the People Who Love Rice convention! (PWLR... hmm.. PWLR to the people! It sort of works!)

I made you hungry, Cel les? My appologies- that must have been a night to be hungry or something.

Yeah, English steals words from a lot of other languages. On the other hand, its highly adaptable. Of course, eventually we'll be speaking corrupted forms of French/German/Italian/everything else without realizing it. *chuckles*

Note: I'm a former member of LotWR, and thus I'm allowed to be forgetful about the number of 'l's in Lady Celles' name. Really!

Let me try to understand this:

There's a Lady Celes, and there's a Lady Celles?

They're both french?

they're both former members of tfm?

and they're both here?

Maybe I'll just stick with the rice...

...I wonder why America is written as 'Rice Country' in Japanese? What does America have to do with rice?...

Rice is one of California's top products, though I don't know why the Japanese may have tagged onto the rice thing. Myabe it is a synonym for abundance??

Also, anyone wanna take bets on when we will all be speaking something called "Ori-Euro"?

That's just a Zool thought.
