Rahsash Geldich Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 As the doubt clouds my mind, Stratus across the moon Shadows engulfing shadows The dark is rising soon. I can feel the claws of depression, Scratching at the walls I've built And the void of dissapointment Is more empty than any guilt. I've been consumed, been taken Engulfed by a shadow of a doubt. Cast first deep within my heart Its something I could do without. I promised I wouldn't do this, Wouldn't care to this extent When I care, I always hurt Though its never my intent. This dark infiltrates like mist You never notice till you can't see But engulfed by this shadow Is the now sadly doubting me.
Guest OneTooManyBlunts Posted July 7, 2002 Report Posted July 7, 2002 I know the feeling. Sometimes doubt is a good thing, however. Know yourself and trust what's right. Move on and keep singin' that song.
Guest Katiya Damodred Posted July 7, 2002 Report Posted July 7, 2002 ::shakes finger half accusingly:: You took the second to last stanza from me, I know you did! I have almost the exact phrasing, though prose style, in my journal...::eyes her suspiciously:: Have you been reading it? Lol, I'm just kidding. I'm just saying I totally know where you're coming from with that part at least, and really with all of it. You are not alone, my friend. Image by FlamingText.com
