Falcon2001 Posted May 17, 2002 Report Posted May 17, 2002 I never learned your name, thief But you stole from me my soul, My luck, my looks, and my life And hid them in some unnamed hole So I'm here to spit at you And take back what is my due Come on out, thief, take a stand Stealing from me you will rue Give It Back! Give me back my life! I don't know when you stole 'em but I don't have any virtues And enough vices for two, So give it back! Give it BACK! Gyrfalcon Posted May 17, 2002 Report Posted May 17, 2002 Heh, you do too have virtues: you are a poet, a songwriter, and a storywriter. Hey, I think those are virtues. *grins*
Guest Xradion Posted May 17, 2002 Report Posted May 17, 2002 Hmm... very rhythmical. Almost sounds like an incantation spoken before an epic battle between a man and some form of doppleganger (at least, it does to me). I know that wasn't what you were thinking, though. I like the poem, though I think that as a whole, emotions are becoming pretty negatively charged around here lately. I only hope that the Burning Angel that whisked away the souls of humanity on a forgotten prayer in a nightmare of darkness will one day be vanquished by an all encompasing twilight (whatever that means). Oh well, always good to get that release, in some form or another... And listen to the Wise Man Gyrfalcon. Xradion, The Horny Druid, Scholar of the Ancient Arts, Holder of the Eye of Odin.
