Falcon2001 Posted May 14, 2002 Report Posted May 14, 2002 Entranced deeper within my soul My music blared for a one man audience Electronic signals pounding my brain Searching for a meaning hypodermically She walked by, her mask enigma I lit a smile her way and she turned then Returning the grin in comradely turn And went on her way better off And I wonder... Was the smile for me? And I ponder... Is the price worth it to be free? Should I find a girl To be my friend And share our souls Until the end? Was the smile for me? Guest Xradion Posted May 14, 2002 Report Posted May 14, 2002 Ah, yes, I think we all have some experience with that feeling. The uncertainty of love, a fleeting moment of mixed emotions. Not knowing whether to proceed or merely let the moment leave us. Not knowing how to interpret signs (I know I'm terrible at it, I always just walk away). At any rate, nice poem. Rahsash Geldich Posted May 15, 2002 Report Posted May 15, 2002 I'm completely sympathizing with you Falcon, I have the same problem. Of course, what must be looked upon is whether or not you can toughen yourself enough to decide that even if you get rejected, it was worth the try. Or, as it happens in my case, the people around you can decide to take it upon themselves instead of leaving it up to you. Oh well, life happens Good luck either way
