Guest Xradion Posted May 9, 2002 Report Posted May 9, 2002 (Conversion Confusion, this is actually the second post in this thread) That's the third Mirror poem this week! If you're interested, check out my poem, "The Man in the Mirror" and Falcon2001's poem "Into the Looking Glass." It seems that we walk in introspective times... Gyrfalcon Posted May 10, 2002 Report Posted May 10, 2002 (conversion Confusion, this is actually the third post in this thread) *Gyrfalcon applauds* I enjoyed reading this poem- go and apply at the Recruiter's Office, I urge you, as Xradion has. *grin*
HopperWolf Posted May 10, 2002 Report Posted May 10, 2002 (conversion confusion, this is the post that begins the thread) *I'm new, so what better place to start than my first poem?* I stand before the mirror, But what do I see? This is not my reflection, That stares back at me. Those eyes are full of sorrow, I know they’ve seen such pain, They know it’s not the last time, They’ll see it all again. I try to reach and help them, The glass gets in the way, I see the hurt they’re going through, There’s nothing I can say. I turn my back I walk away I don’t know what to do, It hurts to see them stuck like this, And now I’m stuck too.
Nyyark Posted May 10, 2002 Report Posted May 10, 2002 Why not try the Recruiter's Office. I think you could make it. This was pretty good.
