Annael Posted April 7, 2002 Report Posted April 7, 2002 I drive that winding trail the night music singing to me telling me not to go there that this is not what is right. But I continue on, regardless of what the stars are saying the moon watching me sadness in his eyes. The road turns and twists like the thoughts in my head what will happen? who will care? Then I see my destination and I slow my car to a stop getting out and walking along the night music getting louder. You know what will happen it says to me and you know who will care it reminds me. Yet I keep on going not heeding what it says and the stars dim their twinkling lights the moon hides in sadness. As I take the final step the wind rushing through my hair, the water singing it's greeting to me I finally realise that I'm not ready for... The End Edited by: Annael at: 4/7/02 12:08:48 pm
Gyrfalcon Posted April 8, 2002 Report Posted April 8, 2002 *Gyr applauds* Very interesting poem, good style, and I love how you finish it, with 'The End' having two meanings.
Ozymandias Posted April 9, 2002 Report Posted April 9, 2002 Very empathetic with a skillful twist at the end. More, please.
