Guest Heart Like A Hole Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 another heart i find littered at my feet, discarded in favor of a razor one more long since cold her lips are blue and her hands are stiff i stare blankly incapable of feeling anything but sorrow at the tears frozen to the side of her face one more long since cold sister...sister...sister... the fire in your eyes is stolen by another morning all alone wake up in bed but you're really dead you smoke a cigarette smile like the rest but i'm not oblivious to the razor's kiss you've tried so hard to hide you've grown cold from ages of neglect and a soul's worth of regret you turned your back you turned your back and now you're not moving anymore one more long since cold sister...sister...sister... take me with you
Falcon2001 Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 I really enjoyed this poem, and felt a lot of emotion coming from it...which isn't really saying all that much because all of your work is HIGHLY emotional, drawing the reader into it. Keep up the good work!
