Rahsash Geldich Posted February 3, 2002 Report Posted February 3, 2002 I take in a deep breath of air, It echoes loudly in my ears Little bubbles dance from me They come but no one hears The little light that reaches Down here casts shadows That mottle the floor and Dance fae-like in meadows. It is quiet. My mind calms. My brain performs basic Functions and lazes like The fish, a colorful mosaic.
Gyrfalcon Posted February 4, 2002 Report Posted February 4, 2002 *Gyr applauds* I like it, though I never have found watching fish too restful... a sleeping cat, now... *smiles*
Bhurin Posted February 4, 2002 Report Posted February 4, 2002 A nifty little diddy, pleasing to the the ear. The atmosphere is almost dream-like, but I get that sensation one has when they're really tired but not asleep when I read it. You've certainly posted a lot of work since you joined. Keep it up. Peredhil Posted February 5, 2002 Report Posted February 5, 2002 Nicely done. One can almost see the little fishy. Where is the little fishy? Peredhil slaps himself before he segues into the Intermission from Monty Python's Meaning of Life Movie. I'm reminded of the calming effect fish had on the protagonists of C.J. Cherryh's Cyteen novels. -Peredhil
