Gwaihir Posted January 20, 2002 Report Posted January 20, 2002 Repentant You’re mad at me, because I slipped, I was doing a job for you, I guess my loyalty wiggled. If I could just be mad at you, Say that you were unfair to me, At least being too relentless, That wouldn’t sting me half as much. I pass you in the halls, mentor, I can’t avoid glancing at you, Wishing for a cheering smile. I know you won’t, at least for now, But still I can’t resist. What if? Maybe now, you’ve forgiven me. I’d hear you want information. It doesn’t really matter what, Say you wanted someone followed. I enter your office, hoping, You look at me and shake your head. In truth you’re mad at me fairly, But that’s why I just can’t stand it!
Guest Stale AOD Posted January 20, 2002 Report Posted January 20, 2002 Excellent, I can definately remember a few occasions when those words would have done me good to hear __________________________________________ Ex-owner of the holy grail, Member of the Official A1 Zombie Club, Inventor of Green Slime and Initiate of the Pen is Mightier than the Sword
Guest Stale AOD Posted January 20, 2002 Report Posted January 20, 2002 Inspired Stale was, to write a little poem before heading for bed Nothing clever.. just, well, true... In true Army style, I found an evil name for it even Blood... It boils in my vains Every day, every night Twisting and turning Hot is my blood Dark sinister pains I can touch the light But I am trapped Hot is my blood Paper, ink stains Intellectual might Still it prevails Hot is my blood But when it rains Blocking your sight The barbarian sleeps Norse is my blood __________________________________________ Ex-owner of the holy grail, Member of the Official A1 Zombie Club, Inventor of Green Slime and Initiate of the Pen is Mightier than the Sword
