Rahsash Geldich Posted January 16, 2002 Report Posted January 16, 2002 People are like stars, Some shining brighter Some hardly shining at all. Some so overshadowed by another that They do not shine as bright. Or maybe they do, but we're so blinded We can't see that they make others brighter And some shine even though they're long gone, While others shine but we can't yet see them For they're so far away. And some twinkle, dimming but coming back brighter Only to dim again so we wonder Why and how but why should we care Do you ever wonder if you're an observer Or do you shine too, up there among others Do you wonder now?
Guest Foe Calibur Posted January 17, 2002 Report Posted January 17, 2002 Foe applauds Very insightful.
Peredhil Posted February 6, 2002 Report Posted February 6, 2002 I like the analogy! Perhaps we ARE stars, observing each other's heavenly bodies? -Peredhil
Jakob Posted February 6, 2002 Report Posted February 6, 2002 Pervert..... I'm a simple man. All I want is enough sleep for two normal men, enough whiskey for three, and enough women for four... Quill-Bearer of The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword
Peredhil Posted February 7, 2002 Report Posted February 7, 2002 Peredhil gazes at Jakob with a puzzled look. Why whatever do you me- Oh! You thought when I said heavenly bodies I meant that- A heavenly body is another name for planets and stars and - Oh never mind. Shocked, Peredhil just trails off with a muttered... "Pervert".
