Bhurin Posted January 5, 2002 Report Posted January 5, 2002 This is just a short didy that I wrote for fun. (It's medievel satire) It's also supposed to be sung to an Irish-style jig. (So go ahead and fake one...) Enjoy. Epic Journey? You search the world for the sacred hero, So you can learn from him. The battlefield does not him yeild, Nor the unholy dark places of sin. You search the skies with eagle's eyes, And the wide sea waters you sail. When you sit to think, your heart almost sinks, For he's right there, drinking an ale. Gyrfalcon Posted January 6, 2002 Report Posted January 6, 2002 *Gyr laughs softly* Or, you become that hero, searching for the fool.
Peredhil Posted February 7, 2002 Report Posted February 7, 2002 And themselves say that wide travel educates the soul... Travel to the local pub and a stout ale can lubricate the eyes! Me Irish ancestors bow in your general direction. Big Peredhil (and I'm not about being one of the Little People, don't you know?)
