Guest Tek Chaos Posted October 31, 2001 Report Posted October 31, 2001 Written obviously when I had a poetry project for my English. I thought it wouldn't hurt to post it. Purposeful Greed Whilst words can meld together well, A poem does not that make. A poem written, without just cause, Is to my belief, done at loss. Purposeful world, where actions have use, Naught is done without. But if use makes action, it does so matter, As more desirable is the latter. And so with this, I must confess, My meaning behind this poem, Is of none other than mine own greed, I wish purely to succeed. Fourth and last, of words my own, Written now, with rhyme and rhythm. My English teacher, see my display, Don’t you think this deserves an ‘A’?
