Heh, one day, Canid and I were talking on ICQ. Somewhere in that chat, we ended up making a parody of sorts of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'.

So sit back and enjoy. ;P

*Gyrfalcon clears his throat*

On the first day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

A Phoenix in an oak tree...

Posted

On the fifth day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

five insane yet happy grins

four mossy boulders (yet so comfy!)

three purple fuzzies fuzzing

two wolves a-bouncing

and a phoenix in an oak tree!

On the sixth day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

six moose stampeding,

five insane yet happy grins,

four mossy boulders (yet so comfy!)

three purple fuzzies fuzzing,

two wolves a-bouncing,

and a phoenix in an oak tree!

On the seventh day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

seven trees with faces,

six moose stampeding,

five insane yet happy grins,

four mossy boulders (yet so comfy!),

three purle fuzzies fuzzing,

two wolves a-bouncing,

and a phoenix in an oak tree!

I like the moose, the trees and the rocks ^_~

Thanks. The moose (meese? *grins*) and the trees were Canid's ideas and the rocks my own.

Anyway, onto the next verse! (Yay, there's a fan out there! ^_^)

On the eighth day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

eight abnormal spirits

seven trees with faces

six moose stampeding

five insane yet happy grins

four mossy boulders (yet so comfy!)

three purple fuzzies fuzzing

two wolves a-bouncing

and a phoenix in an oak tree!

1 moose

2 moose

1 elk

2 elk

1 deer

2 deer

The entire family of animals is named that way (I think)...

just my two cents worth!

On the nineth day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

Nine kettles brewing,

eight abnormal spirits,

seven trees with faces,

six moose stampeding,

five insane yet happy grins,

four mossy boulders (yet so comfy!),

three purple fuzzies fuzzing,

two wolves a-bouncing,

and a phoenix in an oak tree!

Vlad- I know, but I like the idea of 'Meese' running around. *grins*

Falcon- close, but not quite.

On the tenth day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

Ten dragons hiding,

Nine kettles brewing,

eight abnormal spirits,

seven trees with faces,

six moose stampeding,

five insane yet happy grins,

four mossy boulders (yet so comfy!),

three purple fuzzies fuzzing,

two wolves a-bouncing,

and a phoenix in an oak tree!

*snorts indignantly* HIDING?? DRAGONS HIDING!!!!! *gnashes her teeth*

Posted

Canid does her best to calm Kokuryuu.

"The hiding dragons were in referance to one of my characters. Minyex was a green dragon who had a horrific experience shortly before coming into Canid's possesion, the result of it was that he is the most cowardly dragon you'll ever meet. I'll introduce you someday."

*snuffs* Fine.... If you say so... *recoils her neck back* But don't think all dragons hide

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

Eleven buried gators,

Ten dragons hiding,

Nine kettles brewing,

eight abnormal spirits,

seven trees with faces,

six moose stampeding,

five insane yet happy grins,

four mossy boulders (yet so comfy!),

three purple fuzzies fuzzing,

two wolves a-bouncing,

and a phoenix in an oak tree!

Finally, this reaches it's end. I hope you've enjoyed the verses.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my wolf-friend gave to me:

Twelve monstrous vines,

Eleven buried gators,

Ten dragons hiding,

Nine kettles brewing,

eight abnormal spirits,

seven trees with faces,

six moose stampeding,

five insane yet happy grins,

four mossy boulders (yet so comfy!),

three purple fuzzies fuzzing,

two wolves a-bouncing,

and a phoenix in an oak tree!

I liked everything but the dragons thing... I don't care who you mean.

Ah, but a hiding dragon shows much skill and resourcefullness. Would you not be surprised if a dragon suddenly just jumped out of nowhere in front of you? I'd like to think so.

Great work, you two, by the way ^.^

Well I probably wouldn't be surprised...

Kokuryuu gets a thoughtful look

I suppose you are right...

The wolf lets out a burst of dragon call with the name Minyex specified and waits.

After a half a minute a very young, quite thin dragon apears overhead. Upon seeing Kokuryuu in dragon form it lets out a frightened wail and crashes into a near-by building in an attempt to escape flying while watching the other dragon.

Canid moves swiftly over and calms the young green dragon in draconic speech laced with heavy magic.

She trots back to the little group, trailed by Minyex who is swerving violently from side to side, trying to keep out of sight of the other dragon.
