Guest Mister Burrofoot Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 ~ Doves ~ In this park were I once dwelled, there was a girl I loved so well. She stole my heart away from me, Then one day decided to set it free. That same day she took another boyl upon her knees, and told him words she never told me. I ran straight home to cry in my bed, not one word to my parents was said. Late that night they came in search of me, Left and right to my door they broke, and found me hanging from a rope. On the dresser lay a note: Dig a grave, Dig it deep MarbleStone head to feet And on the top plade a dove To show the world I died for Love
SoaringIcarus Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 What a sad poem. "Another boy" perhaps instead of "boyl"? *chuckles to himself* A sad poem indeed. Keep writing. -Icarus
