Peredhil Posted November 1, 2002 Report Posted November 1, 2002 There is a place, on the other side of pain, Where bright lights have rainbows around them. Where the clatter of dishes makes spiders run up and down your spine. Where fingernail clippers echo like the click of a beetles mandibles in your ears. Where voices itch inside your head, but can't be scratched. Where one ear is hot and the other cold, while one eye protrudes and the other sinks away from the pain. There is a place, if you ignore the pain, Where sensations are fascinating.
Gwaihir Posted November 1, 2002 Report Posted November 1, 2002 This poem has more amazing images than anything I can immediately think of.
Gyrfalcon Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 ...Psychadelic. *notes to himself to linger in the pain if he ever gets migraines... it's safer there!*
SoaringIcarus Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Well done. I hope that you are soon able to enjoy these sensations sans pain.
