Nightly Orbs...

I wrote this in what seemed the mere blink of an eye, while I looked out over calm waters at dusk. It has little to do with dusk, I know, focusing more on the night; but, I pray that you enjoy it all the same.

The day is done;

‘Tis marked by one,

The setting of the sun.

 

With starry dew,

The moon, anew,

Shines o’er the nightly few.

 

Peace reigns strong

With loves true bond

By the nocturnal song

 

Of those two true,

That nightly crew;

Under that starry dew
