Silent Silver Shadows

Go softly slipping by

Beneath the many moonbeams

Of a cold clear winter sky

 

So walk with me in wonder

Through a winter wood at night

Till the coming of the day

Sets the woods alight

 

With a thousand gleaming pinpoints

Of frozen rainbow fire

Transforming every ice bound tree

Into a gleaming crystal spire

For some reason I didn't picture it being snowy/icy until the end though, so I had to readjust my mental image. Blame it on being down in Florida right now where it's in the upper 70s today...
