At the top of the world
watching over time
over flows of burning earth
there stands, gnarled and beautiful
the Guardian of many lives-
hidden by the mists of time
touched by the rays of a new dawn
crown of flowers that knows no fear.

The fires of Time

Trickling down to mortal lands

Below, life goes on

Rooted in the earth's blood,

Watered by the sky's dew,

I stretch my arms in joy;

Greet the dawning of the new.

Bleeding rivers of fire

from cuts deep into a body of stone

Cascading down from the roots of mountains

Scorching the sins of uncountable lives

- and oblivious to the world of promised pain

innocence grows, and buds, and blooms

Feeding from the warmth of sacrificial maidens.

Gnarled and tall, lonely

stands the fire-cherry tree;

alone it lives amongst the lava flows.

No other bears fruit so sweet,

or blossom so divine;

and none shall see nor taste its fruit

til firey rivers wane--

nor taste them then,

for fire flows in this great monarch's veins

when lava cools,

the cherries turn to stone--

and sweetest flower, into rosy quartz.

O what mortal hand could I raise

to climb thy weirding promontory

candyfloss sprouts on trees as

the reef pushes ever forward

Millions of ships swimming round it as

the Captain sets the course in

the center of Lilac

Pours down upon the waters of life

And a power of destruction

Becomes the way for the renewing mist

To rise to the thirsting tree

That it may adorn itself

In blossoms sweet

To greet the rising sun

Awaken my sweet earth,

Caress the heavens with hue,

Mirroring the majesty of sunset,

Dawning in blossoming pink,

Born of fire and passionate destruction,

Cushioning the caress with kissing clouds.

Tease her sky with the promise of sweetness,

Earthly bounty, wrapped within heaven's kiss.

The World Grumbled

Belching fire, the world rumbled

Rising anger, heaves forward

Elevating towards the sky.

Altering flows, the world grumbled

Tilting upwards, trees shrouded

Heaven watching rivers sigh.

Shuttering, as the world is humbled.
