Brighid of Byrness Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Mexico...(but I've always wanted to visit BC) Bare feet or shoes? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 15, 2013 Author Report Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) Shoes. Okay - so I have tender feet. I've been to both and I much preferred Canada. That said, I did visit them both in the summer... painting or drawing? Edited October 15, 2013 by The Portrait of Zool Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Painting -- along the lines of abstract impressionism Attend an exercise class or hike/run/bike outside? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 15, 2013 Author Report Posted October 15, 2013 Hike/Bike/Swim!! Exercise classes bore me to tears in about 3 seconds. At least outside I feel like I am getting somewhere. Monet or Picasso? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Love Monet (I appreciate Picasso, but just don't "connect") Chinese or Mexican (food)? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 16, 2013 Author Report Posted October 16, 2013 I prefer Chinese, but I eat more Mexican. Sushi or BBQ? (Muahahahahahaha!) Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Hmmm...depends on what you mean by BBQ Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 16, 2013 Author Report Posted October 16, 2013 Bar-B-Que... on a grill...? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Down here in the south BBQ is pulled pork on a bun with coleslaw! Up north it's burgers and steaks on the grill! And I've been to a few "Mongolian BBQ" restaurants, which was really a stir fry Okay...I love three or four different kinds of sushi, but anything too exotic is not for me (even though I grew up touching sea urchins and sea cucumbers, I'm not going to eat them)...so I guess I'm going to have to go with BBQ...southern-style or meat on the grill! Zombies or Vampires? Quote
Snypiuer Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Depends if you're fighting or being. Fighting - Zombies. Being - Vampires. Health or long life? Quote
Hjolnai Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Health - better a good life than an eternity of wasting away. Folly or madness? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 16, 2013 Author Report Posted October 16, 2013 It's definitely folly for Zool - but isn't the preference for folly itself a madness? How sane is it to not want to be smart? Confusion or ignorance? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Confusion -- it's what settles in after you let go of ignorance and denial. Travel in time to the past or to the future? Quote
Snypiuer Posted October 17, 2013 Report Posted October 17, 2013 I was going to respond to Zool with, "Huh?" Anyways, FUTURE! No explanation required. Front or back? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 17, 2013 Report Posted October 17, 2013 Hmmmm....depends on the context! I will go with my intuition -- back Firm pillow or soft? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 Soft. I have a big head. Sunny or cloudy? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 Sunny...most of the time. Chocolate or vanilla? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 Vanilla - FRENCH vanilla. Strawberry or banana? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 I can't have both? Ok...banana is more versatile Swim in ocean or pool? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 (edited) River! http://www.regionalparks.saccounty.net/Parks/Pages/AmericanRiverParkway.aspx That said, I love boogie boarding - was never at the ocean long enough to learn to surf - but for 'swimming' swimming... I guess I'm not that particular. Specific or general? Edited October 18, 2013 by The Portrait of Zool Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 General...then you can fill in the details yourself! Woodwinds or strings? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 19, 2013 Author Report Posted October 19, 2013 I've always tried woodwinds, but would love try strings. Stone or wood? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 This is extremely difficult for me. There are a few natural objects that I really, really, really like above my general love of nature, and two of them are trees (gnarly) and stones. I try to buy handcrafted wooden and stone objects for my home. Hmmm...guess I will choose wood because of how silky smooth wooden objects are...though I also love the cool textured feel of stone. Sleep in on the weekend or get up and get moving? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 19, 2013 Author Report Posted October 19, 2013 (edited) I did sleep in this morning! I'm actually staying at a log cabin in Nevada City. . So now ya know! Oak or pine? Edited October 19, 2013 by The Portrait of Zool Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Oak for the sturdiness, bark and leaves; pine for the smell of sun-warmed needles and the way they stand sentinel on the Maine coast. I'm not very good at only choosing one option in this game! Spades or hearts? Quote
