The Portrait of Zool Posted October 8, 2013 Report Posted October 8, 2013 This is another simple little game designed to stimulate a little thoughtful activity. I'll go first by stating two items; _____ or _____. The next person chooses this or that (explanation optional) and then makes up the next question. Simple! I'll go first: Iambic pentameter or haiku? 1 Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 8, 2013 Report Posted October 8, 2013 Haiku fer sure! Dwarves or Hobbits? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 8, 2013 Author Report Posted October 8, 2013 That's a tough one, Dwarves are tough and can really put it away, but Hobbits get to do it in the sunlight, so I'd have to say Hobbits! Longhand or word processor? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 9, 2013 Report Posted October 9, 2013 Longhand...I like to be able to scribble and doodle while composing. Walk in the falling rain or walk in the falling snow? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 9, 2013 Author Report Posted October 9, 2013 Another tough one! I love the quiet of walking in falling snow, but walking in the rain can be so refreshing and invigorating! I'lll have to go with rain by a nose. Walking in the forest or walking on the beach? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 9, 2013 Report Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) This is an extremely difficult choice! Spending time near the ocean is essential for my well-being -- I grew up on the coast of Maine and have lived near various oceans and seas for most of my life -- but I love walking through the forest, especially in the fall. Hmmmm...deep breath so I can cram everything in...can't I combine the two and walk along the craggy coastline high above the crashing surf following a forest path littered with pine needles warmed by the early autumn sun filtering down through a canopy of riotous color? Okay, here's an easy one: Coffee or tea? Edited October 9, 2013 by Brighid of Byrness Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 12, 2013 Author Report Posted October 12, 2013 That is an easy one. I like coffee, but it doesn't like me. I'm currently favoring a tea from Peet's called 'Morrocan Mint'. Soup or salad? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 Same with me (reaction to coffee)...though I will drink iced coffee on long road trips. Soup...especially in the fall and winter. Vegetarian or Omnivore? Quote
Hjolnai Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Omnivore, for I shall consume all before me!... er, that is to say, I like a great deal of variety in my diet, and meat is part of so many dishes. Yesterday or tomorrow? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 I can't choose today?! If not, it's tomorrow...always enjoying new experiences! Sightseeing: Hike the Grand Canyon or visit a museum? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 13, 2013 Author Report Posted October 13, 2013 (edited) You know there are museums at the Grand Canyon. But, given either/or I'd have to take a museum, as I've been to the canyon but there are SO MANY museums! Blonde or brunette? Edited October 13, 2013 by The Portrait of Zool Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Well, I kind of meant, "Would you rather sight-see outside or inside?" Blonde or brunette for my hair or another's? I'm choosing somewhere in the middle -- golden, caramel brown Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 13, 2013 Author Report Posted October 13, 2013 LOL! Umm... Inside or outside? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Ooops...I forgot to ask a question (no dumb blonde jokes!) Night person or morning person? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 13, 2013 Author Report Posted October 13, 2013 Definitely a MORNING person. That's when I do my writing, you'll notice. Ummm... Surf or turf? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Surf (most of the time) Dog lover or cat lover? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 13, 2013 Author Report Posted October 13, 2013 Heh - funny thing, I really like cats, but I usually wind up with a dog. For example, we currently have a 12 year old Rottweiller named Kodiak. We got her because our daughter had to move out of the place she had and couldn't find a place in her area that would take a large dog. So, the dog is now ours - and she is a really good dog, if a bit of a diva, but a very good dog. SO... large dog or small dog? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Large dog (I currently have a cat, and when he has moved on I haven't decided if my next dog is going to be a lab or some sort, which is the kind of dog I've always had, or a small dog like a Cavachon) Drive the car or be driven? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 14, 2013 Author Report Posted October 14, 2013 When I get in a car, it's because I have places to go. Drive. Manual transmission or automatic? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Manual...automatic isn't really driving Oak tree or willow? Quote
Hjolnai Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Oak. The sturdy oak does not bow to the wind so easily (though I could be mistaken there - we have few enough of both). When, or where? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Where -- if I knew that, I could probably intuit the when! Summer or winter? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 14, 2013 Author Report Posted October 14, 2013 Summer! I love the heat, love cycling and swimming in the river. Spring or fall? Quote
Brighid of Byrness Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Fall -- my favorite season of the year! Travel: Book a package tour or head off on your own? Quote
The Portrait of Zool Posted October 15, 2013 Author Report Posted October 15, 2013 I have never boought a package tour. Mexico or Canada? Quote
