James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 Theme 43: Dying Living Though my heart beats, and the world, moves. My dreams have become stagnant, unfruitful. And my soul slowly, ever so slowly, finds no peace in its, eternal sleep. Though I go to work and talk and sing. I am just a puppet on a string. Knowing no emotion, anymore. Just as if someone, has closed a door. And now my heart feels still. As I see the rest of the world become ill. And just like me, they move without purpose. Dead in a living body. Hoping for more.
James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 Theme 39: Dreams Visions Close my eyes for me, help me to see the dream held deep in your heart. Show me a future, a future that could be. Never forget what you see in a dream. And...and always fight for what was in that dream.
James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 Theme 41: Teamwork Babel With one language, with one one purpose, we can build a tower to the heavens. With a fearful gaze God did say, “Man can have whatever, when they work together.” So with his power, he scattered us, out to the four corners, and befuddled our speech. But with determination, but with the internet, we shall rebuild a tower, to see the pearly gates!
James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 Theme 42: Standing Still Move MOVE! MOVE! MOVE! Stand there no more, Show the world what you can do! MOVE, Move, move, I can't believe you, standing still now. Move, m..o..v..e.., m..o..v..e.. Why do you, refuse to move? please m...o....v.....e......
James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) Theme 44: Two Roads Two roads, forking in front of me. The choice to make, though mine it would seem has already been chosen, but not by me. My goals, my purpose, my dreams, all abandoned. By the thing pulling the strings. Although in the end... maybe it is all me. Edited June 17, 2011 by James Crow

James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) Theme 47: Creation Beast Deep in a cave lies a monster that I made. I hear him growl he is ready to prowl. Now that you take to me, just wait, see. The dark cave in which he resides. Is the very pupils, of my eyes. Edited June 17, 2011 by James Crow
James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 Theme 48: Childhood Taken Back in the day we where allowed to play. Now we're told that the swings are all rusted and old, no more cowboy vs indians, they are “politically” incorrect. And war is nothing to joke about, even red rover is off the list. With all this protection, is it any wounder that kids grow into a world, that they believe is as pure as snow. Only to find mud!
James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 Theme 49: Stripes Zebra Black and white striped, running free. Trying to escape the lions teeth. Over the hills, through rivers, into a store, now in new clothes.

James Crow Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) Theme 51: Sport Hunt In the foreboding jungle, of a far off land. Stalks a man, hunting, but hunted all the same. His prey is elusive, but stop him, that will not. All he needs is one shot... there it is. The beast he has played tag with, for over two weeks. He readies himself, eyes down the sight, and for a second, all is quite. Then... CLICK! Edited June 10, 2011 by James Crow

James Crow Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 I have returned from battleing the forces of evi.......You know what. I was actually procrastinating. *GASP* I know, I know. But it boils down to I am, and always have mind you, trying to remain invisible. Although I want to be noticed. Creating what I truely am, not alien, not human, but an oxymoron. *hee hee* But enough of my confessions, onward to the poems! *how many poems* SILENCE! ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ Theme 52: Deep in thought Lost in my mind, forgetting my dreams. Tied up, in too many schemes. By the time, I know what to do. Everything will have passed me by. Everything, including you!
James Crow Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 Theme 53: Keeping a Secret Vegetable Garden Out in the vegetable garden. you told me that you would love me love me forever. But we must keep it our secret. Though the next day everyone said there goes the lovers, and neither of us told another soul. We blamed each other going our separate ways, till I remembered an old saying so to the vegetable garden I ran again. I shouted, No matter what you do, no matter how much you hate me. I will always love you, as long as tomorrows follow yesterdays. When I left the vegetable garden, my head hung low. I saw you smile at me and said, I remembered how the saying goes. Never tell a secret you wish to keep, in a vegetable garden. The potatoes have ♣♣♣♣♣♣♣ eyes that see, The corn has ♣♣♣♣♣♣♣ ears that hear, And the crows, ♣♣♣♣♣♣♣ can't keep their beaks shut.
James Crow Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 Theme 54: Tower Trailer Every step I take another challenge, another stone to move another wall collapse. Evey brick that passes, makes part of a stack, making a tower, that will most likely, collapse.
James Crow Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 Theme 55: Waiting Tock Sitting for god knows how long, waiting for you to come over, Watching the clock, never moving, only have I heard the tick. Maybe my heart no longer is beating, or the world is some how frozen, why haven't you come over, why haven't I gone over. Why has there been no tock.
James Crow Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 Theme 56: Danger Ahead A sign said falling rock. If you heard the sound you would run. Boulders crashing down, so much foreboding. No harm in rock and roll.
James Crow Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 Theme 57: Sacrifice Time and years but I would waste all my tears, just to hold you, one more time. You gave your life, to show me, to teach me, for me. Letting me know, someone was watching me, from above, waiting to hold me, waiting to shower me, with love. But twas all in vain, all it did was show me pain. Now I feel my heart all the time. But one day all will be right, but as you said, I will always, hold you tight.
James Crow Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 Theme 58: Kick in the head Big Surprise Woke up one bright day, you said that you felt sick. I said relax, some breakfast in bed will do the trick. A few months down the road. Woke up moon high in the sky, you said that you had a craving. I said hold on, I'll find some of that for you. A few more months passed. Woke up hearing you crying, you tearfully said a baby is coming. I smiled saying, Well is that not a big kick in the head. A few more months later. Woke up in a chair of a hospital room, I said is everything alright. You gave me a grin and said, Yes, all because of you. Now close your eyes
