gravia_lycan Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 care for those who stood beside you care for those who stand near you care for those who entered your life care no less for those unknown, yet to pass your lifeline care more for those who helped and will help you care.... have faith in yourself have faith in all that is have faith in the day that passes by once more have faith in everything you can feel, see, or hear have faith in the unknown have faith.... love your fellow man love your friends love your family love the spirits from within love the world for it brings so much wonders love...
Ozymandias Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I like this. The direct message, and steady repetition make it feel like a march, or a chant being taken up by folk as they band together to help a neighbor... Sometimes unvarnished words can stir the strongest feelings. :>)
gravia_lycan Posted November 26, 2008 Author Report Posted November 26, 2008 I thank you again for loving my poems I find myself not quiet good at this yet so this cheers me up ^^
Ozymandias Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 My pleasure. For what it's worth, I've been writing poetry on and off since high school, and I'm still greatly dissatisfied with most of what I write- but I've heard no such reaction ever from readers, even my family (and you know you can count on family to be brutal. ). So you never know!
gravia_lycan Posted November 29, 2008 Author Report Posted November 29, 2008 I write poems since high school but mine were allways so cliche back then so I am happy with a reaction like this
