The first time I read this I didn't even notice the BLUE (I'm slow, in waves...) outline. I think there would be a greater emphasis on 'point of silence' if you ended with a single period. A more jarring finality.

Thanks Loki. That's an interesting concept..I didn't think about the abrupt. I thought more of a hiss, but the stop kind of fits the blue better.
