Writer's block won't go away.

It's temporarily here to stay.

I cannot find the words to say.

Someday, writer's block will pay.

I'll write the best poem ever made.

People will point to me and say

"She will make it far one day."

Someday, writer's block will pay.

But for now, it won't go away.

I guess for now, it's here to stay.

Until I find the words to say.

And that day...Writer's block will pay.

Something we all know well I think…the only thing there is to do is to write.

And you did pretty well here, especially liked the determination the poem shows, and how it stands out through the repetition you used here. ^_^

Just a shame that the first line in the second part ends differently than the others.

I'll write the best poem ever made

Maybe something like ‘I will have the best poetry on display”?

I'm a big fan of structured poetry, and repetition, and to change from that structure is useful at times where you want to emphasise something, but here it seems to break out a little in a place where it might not be needed to break.

I think this is a pretty neat poem, well done :)

Thank you, Sweet! That actually helps no much! I did feel that the line was out of place and didn't work but didn't know how to make it so.

Much appreciated. It actually sounds a lot better this way.

cool, let me be one to say that writers block is a curse of mine, at least i thought it was. Allow me to explain

For me (personally, no offense intended to anyone else) writers block was more of a scapegoat, a reason to not put effort into my peices, and i did pay for that. One day i picked up my pen and decided this

"If I am to be a writer (among other things) then i must write, and not blame a lapse of creativity on something that doesnt exsist."

That was just my thoughts, just thought id share.

peace
