Zariah Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 For a while, I shall stumble Trying to Figure out why. The whole thing is so tragic I know not what to say. And even when I can walk again, I know this loss has changed me. For never again can I claim that desire Since it whisked away all of him. Someday I will run freely. But never will it be from life, For this gift we all have is too blessed. I will aim to appreciate every moment.
reverie Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 hey Zar... This just might be some strange coincidence, but the first line of your poem is the one of the two I threw out in the on going first lines game: link Small internet, no? cool. rev...
Sweetcherrie Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 *hugs* Great to read your writing again, and even greater to see those last lines....living your life is rather important, seeing that we only get one (well, this lifetime anyways ) *hugs some more and bounces out*
HappyBuddha Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 *Hugs* It's never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, especially in such circumstances. I'm glad to see that you're able to look beyond the initial pain to the future, and what it holds.
Zariah Posted October 26, 2005 Author Report Posted October 26, 2005 oh. um. not about someone I loved or even know, really. Something happened to influence the poem though.
Beautiful Nightmare Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 *hugs* watching a loved one suffer a loss is sometimes harder than suffering it yourself-a loss for words, what emotions to feel. I think your poem is beautiful and glad to see you writting! I wish you the strength to get through this! *hugs*
Appy Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Well written and open to a lot of interpretation. I for one get the idea, not of loss but of change, and the sadness that sometimes comes with that. Good to see you write indeed, I'm always glad to see your name here. Take care, and good conclusion indeed
