Pull my insides out so I can breath,

Your presence is taking over me.

And when I'm down, your always there,

And you've shown me, that i can care.

Thoughts of you walk through my mind.

And when your with me it's then i find,

That being happy is no longer a task

As you have thrown away that mask.

Very sweet and very accomplished. I like this piece :) I especially like how the first two lines feel stereotypically "depressing," but you then defy the reader's expectations by inverting the message.

Jagged lines; an image framed in red,

A motionless, emotion-full embrace,

Same bored, dull expressions all the while.

Sneak twice, a glance; a slight turn of the head,

Enjoy the changing contours of his face,

Treating you with your own loving smile,

Trying hard to catch your eye or heart,

Even if it tears his own apart.

After this exchange, exclaim your thoughts;

Nearing, now, the point of no return,

Delivering your heart, though out of sorts.

Maybe he'll just laugh; then you shall learn

In laughter - for worse words were never said -

Kindness rarely seems to know its place.

Each peal exits your heart in single file.

Forgive me though, for I shall never jeer,

Or give you reason, real or not, to cry.

Repeat your movements; sidle up, so near,

Every moment, glance from eye to eye.

Vocabulary fails us. Leave unsaid

Each imperfection, perfect in its place;

Release yourself into my arms in style.

Jumbled lonely thoughts take flight

As I think of your smile,

Staying up to talk all night,

Sneaking glances all the while.

Each day I long to know you're there

To talk to when I feel alone,

To giggle with your flicked out hair,

Even giggling when we're on the phone.

Grr.. >: )

I stare into the candlelight,
And you dance within the flame,
Though you're not here, you're still in sight
To ease my mind, to stop my pain.
As the light burns low
Like a setting sun,
I close my eyes and you're still there
To help my fears be over come.
