Zariah Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Maybe I'm being TOO unrealistic (sorry I spelled it wrong in the subtitle). [EDIT: *scrub*scrub*scribble* What misspelling? --Quincunx] Maybe I'm all alone in feeling this way, but I want the Pen to be a positive, fun, productive place...and when I comment on stuff I feel like my ideas are disliked or looked down upon. So....I thought instead of crusading for peace, I'd write a few "upper" haikus and hope that others will add thier own. Keep the Mighty Pen, A haven of peace and love; Union of writers. Respect the Pennites, Be constructive and friendly; Kindness and laughter. (ooh it's 5-7-5, right?)
Vlad Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 [We're supposed to add our own, right?] Always be Polite- Lest we send you on your way, Switfly with a kick! Otherwise, please stay: Then tell us what you think of All our prose and verse. If you do oblige, Then to you we shall be kind; Friendly as can be. First you start off low, But if you pay the dragon The process begins To Initiate, We will transform your ink pen. Then you're stuck for life. If you always grow, Make an effort around here- Page you will be soon! ... ... ... [bah, inspiration ran dry... Anyone want to finish this up?]
Mynx Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 *picks up talking stick* ... Continue this way And Quill Bearer you become Then it's up to you A quest to perform Success offers one of three Ranks for you to choose ... *blushes sheepishly and places stick down* Inspiration ran off sorry... *decides to go hunting for it*

Peredhil Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 Be strong in yourself. Don't look for validation, Yet appreciate.
drummondo Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 Hold your own pen high, And lace each word with a laugh; Writing's the best cure. Be modest, yet true, And give praise where praise is due, And you will come through.
