Quincunx Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 AHA! The Character Creation Crib Sheet has short descriptions of all the options! Or nearly all--nothing about Abyssals. This Combat 101 primer should be required reading for all pre-revamp World of Darkness games. Have found a Core Rules review which explains the different categories of traits well for Solar Exalted, information which possibly carries over to other types, and a VERY brief synopsis of the dice system, easiest to grasp of the three links.
Tanuchan Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 Hey, nice links, Tzim!! Thanks! I'm getting more and more curious about Exalted... I'd like to try it. Which one would you guys play? (Of course, I'm still up to any of the others )
Valdar and Astralis Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 (edited) Name: Kitanue Talesia Concept: Budding pornstar Race: Elf Gender: Female Eyes: Green Hair: Platinum Blonde Height: 5'1'' (+1' with ears) Weight: 82 lbs. One could almost say that Kitanue was born to whore. Kicked out of home at an early age by her conservative elders, the young elf drifted across the world, relying on good looks and a curvatous body to survive. For decades she travelled, rising from coarse street girl, to skilled brothel worker, to mistress courtesan. She knew every role like the back of her hand, never hesitating to learn more. It was in the great city of Freeport that she discovered her true call, dancing. Torn between passion and trade Kitanue melded the two - giving birth to the art of exotic dances. Encouraged by the success, Kitanue set off around the world again to spread her "art" as well as new ways to improve her dance. Her adventures had mixed results. In the first town she visited, Kitanue was driven out by a mob of enraged pitchfork wielding wives (an occupational hazard). In the next, she endured nearly five years as a temple dancer before the temple (and town) was struck down by a wrathful god, crushed by a landslide before being incinerated by a volcano. Undaunted, she's on the road again in her slightly charred dancing dress, drifting from town to village with a firm set to her ears and the light of an angry volcano at her back. ~O~ Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 (edited) Well, I thought I'd play a Half-Elf, and take a level of Half-Elf Paragon (a class dedicated to being "all-that is to be a half-elf"). One of the Paragon abilities is to choose either Elven or Human heritage... and allows me to take a level of Human Paragon. Let's follow up with a level of Bard. ~O~ The ultimate goal is to max out levels in Half-Elf Paragon and Human Paragon. Then start taking levels of Dragon Disciple and eventually become a (Half-) Dragon who is the essense of Half-Elven Humanity. There's also a Half-Dragon Paragon out there... ~O~ And, for those of you who have access to the Book of Exaulted Deeds, there are vows of poverty. Why not have a Dragon with a vow of poverty? ~O~ Name: Raven Storm-Song Concept: Master of Contradictions Race: Half-Elven, initially Gender: Female, to start (If I can find a legitimate means to change it, I will) Eyes: Gold Hair: Black Skin: Brown, until DD levels come into play Height: av. for whatever STR is rolled. Weight: av. for height Align: Preferably Lawful Chaotic, unless Amoral Silly is an option Edit: I just remembered the Accolyte of the Skin prestige class, which allows one to transform into a demon... although that'd take Epic levels. Hmmm... taking lvls in Monk would allow me to become an Outsider, as well. Muahahahaha. Change race as many times as possible! Edited April 13, 2005 by ~O~
