Loki Wyrd Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Two 'K's with needless and 'E'-less ire inside Form a church of no rock With walls of words to hide behind Not warding from the wind or trying to resolve The issues subscribed to by the numbers on the clock That's been wound much too tightly; thinking of Raindrops falling on the carpet, mildewed Just about through now And vines crawl and creep along Looking for a drink of sunlight In a room without a window
Appy Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Even though by the life of me I couldn't figure out what this is about exactly, it resonated on my soul. Bringing me pictures of desolate and grey cloud covered moors with a single church clanging it's bell forlournly. The abandoned estate with vines crawling through the windows and a single door creaking in the wind. That sortof thing. I like it, thank you.
Sweetcherrie Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 Dali would probably have been able to turn this in a gorgeous painting. It feels to me like art, that needs at least a second and a third look before you discover the tiny figures on the right. But it feels like the colours of the painting would most probably be saddening and faded, as if it's long forgotten. *Sweetcherrie nods to herself* I like it. *hugs* - Sweetcherrie
