Mynx Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 Does the dream convince the soul That love is all one needs? Does the vision convince the mind That it can always be achieved? Do the spirits of the night That dance around us when we sleep Tell us truth or tell us lies Make us laugh or make us weep? Does the daylight convince the heart That the dreams are merely that? Is it this, the harsh reality That many a heart turns black? [new line: I love you, I hate you]
cryptomancer Posted October 27, 2004 Author Report Posted October 27, 2004 I love you, I hate you, I wrote upon the ground, In petals of a daisy, That fell without a sound. I love you, I hate you, I whispered to the night, Upon the light of stars, That shielded you with light. I love you, I hate you, I wrote upon the page, Memories of weariness, My emotions disengage. I love you, I hate you, I scream at the sea, Fleeng from sanctuary, To what can never be. I love you, I hate you, Spoken in my days, As muttering maddness, Argued mental phrase. I love you, I hate you, The former it is true, The hate is at myself, For being apart from you. [Line: Whisper to my soul an everlasting dream.]
Mynx Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 Whisper to my soul an everlasting dream Remove from me my fears, the things that make me scream Tell tales to my heart that make it sing with joy But ensure the tales are truth, and not an evil ploy I have seen you weave your words before, seen the strings you pull You tell me things are different and I want to trust you, still The same part of me that loves you, knows too well the games you play Do I let my heart ignore this? What should happen if I stayed? Whisper to me your promises, tell me what you intend But first confront your demons, face your flaws and make ammends You know I love you dearly, you know I love you true But if I am to be treated like the others, I can have no life with you. [OOC: *blinks* Where the hell did that come from?!] [New line: Welcome to the madhouse]
cryptomancer Posted October 28, 2004 Author Report Posted October 28, 2004 "Welcome to the madhouse" A dismembered echo imparted, To the wandering stranger That into the room had started. "It seems I am a triffle lost, And from my world departed." "If I can hear the ghostly voice that my perceptions altered." Mirror me my reflective gaze, And in my haunted darkness, Capture me my eternal toil, or Heavens joyous fortress. [line: When I lost my self to you]

The Death of Rats Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 new line: "Pickles are bittersweet"
Ayshela Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 Pickles are bittersweet, lemons are sour, still seems like minutes when we talk for hours. Meeting means leaving, though time spent is fun with one who discusses all things on the run. i love being with you, the time that we share, though both of us know that our time is no where near as much as we'd like to have spent being near - sharing thoughts, sharing hearts with ones we hold dear. Joining and leaving make life bittersweet. Hope that each time we leave means that once more, we'll meet. with apologies, this one was totally of the cuff =) new line: Kill me quickly, dam the tears

What makes you tick and I tock, Why do we find we mesh? Much more than any passing trend. Are you a friend who will miss my leaving? Or will you forget me till I return? Giving voice to happy rejoining, But inwardly wishing I would learn That I am not really your friend. I will miss you my friend, Our talks and laughter Your funny ways meeting My strange thoughts and combining In one almighty friendship. New line: "As I begin to think of many things" epinephrine

Ayshela Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 Stagger into another dawn, mug of coffee to warm my brain and brace my heart against daggers drawn, held close in hand to stall the drain of vital force and energy unfolding events often bring as each one takes a bit of me until there's little left to string the thoughts and words into a whole which makes the meaning clear to all, yet once more step into my role, forging forward until i fall. new line: picture perfect painted sky
cryptomancer Posted November 2, 2004 Author Report Posted November 2, 2004 (edited) Picture perfect painted sky Drawing to my heart all That I truely desire. Silently setting sun adored As in its light I see her Standing at my side. Warmth whispering wind's caress Softness in her lip's soft kiss My soul scorching in our love. Walking wakeful and weary Into the breaking dawn Cool grey blue. Picture perfect painted sky Colour that I see ever In my lover's eyes. [line: Dawn within her soft embrace] Edited November 2, 2004 by cryptomancer
Ayshela Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Dawn within her soft embrace holds hope of brighter days, with glowing colours, gentle light illuminates the dark. Chasing shadows, dark and long with ever brighter shades of shifting light in jewel tones to tease the world awake. Dawn creeps gently into sight first muted, and then brilliant, chasing shadows from my heart as well as from the land. New line: Hold my heart within your hand
cryptomancer Posted November 2, 2004 Author Report Posted November 2, 2004 Stagger into another dawn, Shift upon the silken sheets, Lose the paths of dreamlessness, Walk the road of wake instead. Lay upon the idle sun, Shifting slowly to its noon. Kiss the dawn's drawn breath Long for the cool night moon. Starlight wet upon the grass, Caress of midnight dew, Reflect in shards of liquidity My mortal soul renewed. Hold my heart within your hand For in your life I give, all that In the world I have, and upon My lost soul I survive. Within the Beating of the treasure I give To your soft palm, and grasp, My love looks upon you, seeing As I ever will, the love, that is All I ever dreamed to find. Who Saw my soul, yet loved me still. [line: Mortality faded to grey.]
Mynx Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Mortality faded to grey Lifeblood slipped away Colours fading fast Losing once sharp contrast Heartbeat slowly weakens Drawing out the end Cling to life in vain Trying to ignore pain Life's fight cannot last Heard in choking gasp Dagger's blade drinks blood Tears of mourning's flood [New Line: Reminded of you]
Ayshela Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Reminded of you, I pause with a smile to remember your kiss and the warmth of your heart. They say it is true that we stay but a while, but I carry that bliss even though we're apart.
Ayshela Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 The faceless reflections in the window fade, as evening's lights bleeds from the sky. The unceasing pageant of memories strayed through her mind, deep behind shuttered eyes. Blank is the window that leads to her soul, lest someone should look deep within, for all the world sees is a bright, smiling whole, though she's broken, and bleeds for their sins.
cryptomancer Posted November 5, 2004 Author Report Posted November 5, 2004 Reminded of you, In the empty air beside me, Reminded of you, When your eyes I cannot see, Reminded of you, When my heart slows its beat, Reminded of you, When my mind feels defeat, Reminded of you, As my world around me falls, Reminded of you, As I hide behind my walls, Reminded of you, As in my life I cry, Reminded of you, As alone, without you, I die. [line: Daylight screamed its dawning rays]
Mynx Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 Daylight screamed its dawning rays Burning memories into my eyes Sunlight sobbed for moments lost Choking on its unspoken cries Winter harshness attacks this world Killing around me all I love Snowfall burns uncovered skin Needles from wind's unkind shove Darkness comes in peaceful calm Bringing back my solitude Crystal evening, silver moon Leaving me once more to brood Love's form then begins to heal Night's protection in the void Tomorrow, soon, I will see You Now my heart is overjoyed [New Line: Crystal water, pure in form]
cryptomancer Posted November 5, 2004 Author Report Posted November 5, 2004 Crystal water, pure in form, Wash the lover's pain, From the wounds that love has drawn, Rinse them clean again. The liquid light of lonely hearts, Glimmers in the sadness That sings of love as she departs, Draining away the gladness. Crystal water, pure in form, Rinse my soul again. Crystal water, pure in form. Make us one again.

drummondo Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 (edited) Sleep walks my weary mind In search of certain rest, But all that it can find Are second thoughts, at best, And though the drooping windows slowly fade, My pen rejects relief, and writes, unswayed, And, on the paled page, The words of weakness weave A playful web; their stage Is but a slight reprieve From unfilled hopes of dreaming in one's bed, For we have thought - the poet's curse - instead.
