LOL I'd happily write one up for you, Gwai. I seem to remember you asking me to do something like that back before my hiatus. *hugs* I'll get on it.

Guilds: A schism within the Pen caused the membership to split off into three factions, each hellbent on destroying the others. In the past, vast tracts of land were rendered uninhabitable, millions were slaughtered, entire cities leveled in various battles in the War of the Words. In recent times, exhausted from millennia of fighting, the three factions have come to an informal truce, while all hone their skills in preparation for the next offensive.

Whats the ansers to them all

Part of this forum is hidden, you have to be accepted by doing the recruitment thingy before you are allowed to see it, What is the reason behind hidding sections of the forum?

note: do not think im seaching to gain anything, im only asking Q's :)

Acceptance is easy, but the application helps to separate the truly lazy from those who are willing to commit a bit of time and energy.

Also, having semi-hidden forums allows members to post materials that aren't seen by spider-bots and random people browsing - for instance, if someone is having a trauma and wants advice and doesn't want the entire world to know about it.

Personally, I try to give priority on my feedback to those who post in the hidden forums asking for help, because they've indicated commitment in taking the time to join.

For me, the Pen tends to be an extended family, and many families have things they want to discuss among themselves, and ways to limit giving endlessly to the unappreciative or to "one-night-posters".

Also, having semi-hidden forums helps some to present a better "face" to the world, if they are shy. They have a place they can work on their craft in private, and then post the final result in public. As an example, I did that with my Assembly Room piece, Gratitude.

I'm sure others have more reasons, but those are a few of mine.
