The Pen is Mightier than the Sword

With blackest intent the crime was committed

And fires trapped within the soul ignite

By fates bright ey, the guilty man's acquitted

But now this freedom will become his plight

The flames within left his heart in ashes

Though through the black ash gleams white, one clean shard

Mind is bloodied by emotion's lashes

But still o'er his secret, stands his guard

Riddles confuse and deceit runs amuck

This mind is gone, fled to the black blue sea

But the sea runs red; he's run out of luck

At last the deep consumes him and he's free

Thus ends a life filled with remorse and woe

Take care, remember, you reap what you sow
