Loki Wyrd Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 I just noticed at the top of my internet browser window it says "The Pen is Mightier Then The Sword." Isn't supposed to be "The Pen is Mightier Than The Sword?" Than with an a works for me...
Alaeha Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 Than is the more grammatically correct version. He threw the ball, then he slipped and fell on his backside, landing harder than he had before.
Orlan Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 Yeah, the difference betwixt then and than is one of those internet words which the fingers type before knowing what they're doing. It's changed though for the anal retentive so no more worries.
Alaeha Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 Hey! My digestion problems are none of your business! (Thanks for fixing it. Just had to... err... give you crap?)
Loki Wyrd Posted January 14, 2004 Author Report Posted January 14, 2004 Lol, yeah, I figured as much. Now to get that changed to 'The Loki is Mightier than The Sword'...catchy, isn't it?
Ayshela Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 OOOOOOOOHHHHH Alaeha, that was bad, you *should* apologize for that... *groaaaaaan* *hides*
Peredhil Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 LOL... Jechum made the very same mistake when he created the Ezboard site(s).
