Salinye Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Come on now, pull those nasty little self promises out of the closet, we all want to hear them!!! ~Salinye
Falcon2001 Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Hmm... I resolve to be more truthful to myself and my friends. I resolve to start working out or running or something. I resolve to have fun!
Aardvark Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 I resolve to smack anyone in the head who refuses to do something "Because it was my new years resolution"
Merelas Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Well. This is a very interesting question. I don't think I've replied to many of these before. I always force myself to make three very specific resolutions every year, and so I suppose I'll just share them with all of you. First, I'm resolving to keep a journal and write in it at least once a week, and to share that with no one. Second, I'm resolving to achieve at least a 3.8 for the second semester (Hopefully! ) Third, I'm resolving to successfully witness the gospel to as many people as I can. I know this one isn't very specific, but I really don't want to put a quota on it, because that just seems harmful, and if I fill it, I'll always be nervous about it again, and then I'll be like, "Well, I made my resolution, I've done my work for the year!" so I don't think I'm going to make this one as specific. So those are mine!
Damon Inferel Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 I resolve to return to my weight of a maximum of 120. I resolve to continue my truthfullness to everyone, despite the fact it has done more harm than good lately. I resolve not to kill myself out of petty despair, nor overwhelming depression, or anything else. I resolve to maintain my faithfulness, even if my emotions state otherwise. I resolve to continue my pacifism. I resolve to use my full potential in my future career training. I resolve to learn as much as I can about myself and humanity until I am dead. I resolve to continue being a loyal meber to the Pen. I resolve to remember my friends, no matter how far or long it has been between us. I resolve to do fewer unnecessary things...
Tyrion Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 I'm going to have to quote bash again and say: My New Year's resolution is 1024 x 768.
Alaeha Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 I resolve to continue growing my hair out, no matter how annoying it may become. I resolve to, before the end of the school year, purge myself of all those I would be best off without. I resolve to continue writing bad poetry.
Lady Celes Crusader Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 I resolve to hum... ouch! Well, to keep up training, not getting myself discourage and do as much skiing as possible.

Tasslehoff Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Ive never really made a New Years resolution. Peredhil Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Don't try everything! I'd recommend avoiding Mad Cow Disease, rape, and being murdered. I resolve to hold true to my beliefs, and continue to love others even when the response would not encourage it. Basically to turn off my "wants receiver" and be a broadcast station.
