Damon Inferel Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 A dream it was as my mind snapped I couldn't believe it was real I awoke with blood surrounding me Two bodies brutally beaten By my hands it had seemed But I could not believe it Even with the stains of crimson guilt Even with the flashing lights surrounding me But there was no one else It was all a blur to me before Fists and knives going all directions Was I defending myself? In an instant I was surronded by red and blue Lights and sirens and headlights blinding me My sense of taste functioned through the shock My teeth biting the wet asphalt of the alley There was the feeling of cold steel My hands bound tightly as I was the dragged Being carted off to endure more lights These lights accompanied by questions I explained my views How it had all just passed me by I could not deny my hands The tools of death I had used to seal my fate My memories faded away from me The time before I knew nothing Only blood and lights and sounds Grunts and shrieks and sirens It was surreal to me I didn't believe i had done it But there was no denying it There were the stains of guilt on my hands
