Kayleana Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 (edited) I haven't written like this in a while, so i might be a bit rusty ... So bare with me while I get back into the mood of writing. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Pushing open the doors, a dark cloaked figures walks in. She brings her head up slowly; water dripping off the top of her cloak to the ground. She looks around. "Tis a dreary day out there. Haven't seen one like it for a good half of a month." The young woman takes off her cloak and hangs it nears the fire to dry. She then moves over to the bar. Squeezing the water out of her long black hair, she looks down at her dark green dress which was drench with water as well. "Give me something to warm my soul, good man! The water has seem to soaked right through my cloak! Maybe it be a good time for me to a new one, eh?" Taking a sip of her drink, the young woman walks back over to the fire and finds a seat. Looking around the room again, the woman realizes that she does not recongize anyone, nor do they know her. A little laugh rolls off of her lips. "My sincere apologies!! I haven't introduced myself! I'm just chatting away as I always do. Well I am Kayleana. I've seen this a place many times, but have never dropped in ... So I just thought that right now was as good as time as any to actually come in." Edited September 22, 2003 by Kayleana
Wylde Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 All the sudden the door opens loudly ,and in walks a slender red headed woman in a black dress . She shakes her hair wildely to get the rain out . She walks up to the Bar keep . Bar keep pass me an ale..
Ayshela Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Ayshela rises from her table in the corner and approaches the bar. Tossing the bartender a few geld she softly requests another scotch for herself and refills for the sadly dampened ladies. Welcome! Come in and join the fun. We don't bite, most of us, unless you ask really nicely.
Wyvern Posted September 25, 2003 Report Posted September 25, 2003 The whole room trembles slightly as the door to the bar suddenly swings open and Wyvern barges into the chamber at full-speed, dragging a large coat rack in along with him. Arriving at the spot where Kayleana, Wylde, and Loki Wyrd are sipping their ales, the overgrown lizard quickly whips out the Decanter of Endless Booze and pours each of them a free glass of Bruteweiser Beer before exclaiming: "Greetings Kayleana, Wylde, and Loki Wyrd... allow me to introduce myself. I'm Wyvern, also known as the Elder of Initiates as well as the Pen member with the best bargains this side of Terra! Now that you've indulged in some of my free booze, allow me to propose to you some fantastic offers on new coats!" Having said this, the greedy reptile drags the coat rack he has with him in front of Kayleana and hisses: "Kayleana... I think that this rhinocerous-skin coat would suit you fine, and it's guaranteed to protect you from the rain!" Kayleana raises a brow curiously as Wyvern pulls out an extremely ugly looking grey uniform from the rack. Glancing at the price tag on the coat, Kayleana's eyes widen and her jaw drops open, noticing that the tag is a foot long in length due to the number of digits in the cost. "Best bargains this side of Terra?!" exclaims Kayleana. "Why, for half of this price I could hire a safari to hunt down a rhino and get an expert coat designer to make a uniform for me!" Wyvern grumbles and sighs, nodding and hanging the jacket back where he found it on the rack. Turning to Wylde and Loki Wyrd, the lizard mutters: "So... Would anyone be interested in a hippo-skin night gown or an emu-feather overcoat...?" ;-) OOC: Welcome, Kayleana, Wylde, and Loki Wyrd.
Lelu_Asana Posted September 25, 2003 Report Posted September 25, 2003 A rather suspicious looking woman pokes her head through the door. Dark auburn hair masked most of her facial features as it fell forward, her clothing hidden beneath a midnight green cloak. Lelu stepped into the room non-chalantly, as though she didn't know she looked suspicious enough as it was. Being a relative new-comer she was merely interested in getting to know those around her. Stepping up to the bar, she brushed the fallen locks from her face and smiled brightly to those that sat drinking their ale. Good eve to you all." She extended her hand to whoever would take it.
